We happened to be near Anna's last fall and witnessed the aftermath of her "slaughter." Helpless little brug limbs lying haphazardly all over the ground. I had to restrain myself. I took quite a few things up to her and she reciprocated by loading up DH's new truck. I was so excited with my trades that I didn't check the truck bed. We had to be in Iowa to meet relatives. And then we were on our way home to Texas.

As we left Iowa, the phone rang in the truck and I heard Anna's voice asking me if I knew I left a box of brug cuttings in the grass. What?? I put on my sad face Sad , and DH doubled back to Wisconsin to pick up those " #*€¥ " brugs. We had to spend an extra night in Illinois. (It was worth it).
Those brugs cuttings that made it over winter turned out to be the healthiest, bloomingest brugs I have. If she decides to sell some, take her up on it!
