Persian Shield is a fav of mine and can be hard to find in our area. Not sure why it isn't sold more widely and you pay premium prices for it. Maybe I should try growing it from seed.
Funny I remember that pot of Dichondra from the Plantation Tour but didn't remember the caladiums planted with it. I have tons of caladium bulbs so next year I will have to give that a try. Must look for a couple of urn style planters.
I thought you might like these pictures of the silver room from the Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. The Dichondra isn't easily seen but there was a lot of it. Hanging over the rock ledges and down by the falls even creeping on the ground by the stream. It was the first time I really saw Dichondra and just fell in love with it. A few pics are going to be blurry.
