Yes! I haven't pulled a weed for about 6 weeks. Nothing was sprouting. That may be changing, if it keeps raining normally now. Winter sprouts don't bother me though, I don't get mosquito bites pulling those, or sweaty, just exercise & material to compost.

Now it's cold. I love fuzzy socks & sweaters but the novelty of this will wear off before the cold does. ;)

On the bright side, there's the holiday cacti & other winter-blooming house plants. And the succulents that don't feel like blooming yet get the pretty colors.
