My Signifigant Other takes very long trips and also has a separate residence, which our cat thinks is Just Wrong. For a long time, when he realized she was about to leave, he would stand in front of the door so she couldn't get out.

When she comes back, he tries to do both at the same time, which REALLY doesn't work, but neither us us tell him we see through the game.
