Happy New Year, everyone -- I hope 2017 is a safe and healthy year for us all!
We celebrated New Year's Eve by having a few drinks and visiting with friends at a local bar, then a light supper at home and lots of snacking while we watched TV, pretty much the only day of the year that we snack in the evening! Yesterday we had family here for dinner (most of which I prepared on Saturday and just had to heat up, so that was pretty easy); after they left we had time to clean up and then watched the Packers beat the Lions

Today I am SO happy that the holidays are over and I can order seeds and really start thinking about next summer's garden, as well as working on some other projects that are always neglected during the summer. I hope everyone has a great week
