We are 9 days away from spring, yet, the candidum is 6 inches high in growth,.,.the smaller seedling pots never completely died off,but as the warmer weather strived so did the growth in the pots,.,.very good signs.. and ive just planted another 10 seed,.,.everybody here is wanting candidum, seeing as it seemed to disappear during the late 90's,,.luckily i had a person ,give me a bulb or 2,,and advised me to- ''grow it away from other bulbs'',.,.[which i did],,''a light sprinkle of lime twice a year and some light nutrition, keeps them happy''- which i do! it will usually bloom in the first 2 weeks of november and such a welcome sight and smell for summer
lily freaks are not geeks!
