Just came across this old 2016 thread and I had to comment.

First of all, you did receive replies on your first post in the Clematis forum, you just never came back to comment on it. The thread "Here are PICS of my problem Clematis 'Versailles'" in Clematis forum
And actually I see you have several posts that have replies to them and that you participated in.

Second, you posted at May 24, 2016 3:45 AM PST 6:45 AM your time but about 10 hours later you got upset that you didn't get a reply. Less than a day. This forum isn't as highly trafficked as other and members have busy lives, and maybe some that did see the post don't grow either one so didn't comment.

I grow Clematis 'Romantika', never had any problem with it, it's a favorite.
