Doris.... I know your first butterfly is a Tiger Swallowtail. I am not certain but I believe it is a Eastern species. Bugfiles on DG has these shown:
But on a regional search here only the Eastern shows to be in your area.

Fairly certain the other butterfly you pictured is a Pipevine ST.
