Weight loss surgery that is but not a gastric by-pass.
I'm getting the newer vertical sleeve gastrectomy where
they only reduce the size of your stomach....so not
dumping syndrome or mal-absorption issues.
After 40 years of battling obesity
I'm 100 lbs.over weight.
I figured this was better than open heart surgery.
I did alot of research before coming to a decision,
and I'm at peace with it. The process started over
a year ago so I've had plenty of time to think about it.
I'm going to a top bariatric surgeon so I will be in good hands.
The surgery is done laparoscopically and has about the same
risk as having your gallbladder out.
Would appreciate your prayers and positive vibes.
