Christie-- Mine have been in the ground outside for 3 to 4 years. Once I plant them outside they stay there,. They do not get dug back out. I have been doing that for over 5 or 6 years. I know the first time or two I bought Apple Blossom it was mislabeled. They bloomed red. But since them I have bought 3 or 4 more elsewhere, and in different years. They are all bright pink like my picture. I do not think I got that many mislabeled ones from different places that look similar. I would think the difference between yours and mine would be the growing environment and soil. Maybe it is the big difference in night and day temperatures mine experience outside. Yours looks to be indoor and grown in a pot. Maybe someone else would know why, I am not an Amaryllis expert. I just love them! Your bloom is pretty. May you have joy in your home and heart!
One to take to heart....1 John 4 ..............................................Where there is smoke...there is fire...in most cases the smoke will kill you long before the fire consumes you. Beware of smoke screens! Freedom is not free and when those who have not paid the price or made the sacrifice...think that only they are right and entitled to speak...they bring us tryanny.
