I've become more aware of it since these comments and I'm seeing HUGE stands of it on the roadside here and there. The photos I posted are of a stand that's been there for quite a few years but, as it's in deep shade fighting with the White Pines for resources, it hasn't really expanded. There were several seedlings however which have been dealt with.
