I tried to get a shot od Buff Beauty growing over the metal arch but it's hard t get the right angle, plus I need to prune back a 10 ft. abutilon on the right side.

Julia Child, a really nice healthy looking plant. The Rose Campion (Silene coronaria) self seeded in that spot and I think it works great with the yellows.

I bought a band size Veilchenblau from Brushwood spring 2015, potted it up for a year, planted it last fall and added the metal trellis this spring. It got huge! It's loaded with clusters of tiny buds, complete with tiny aphids.

I didn't prune back Ghislaine de Feligonde last winter and as it developed the buds, it's leaned way over the lawn and now hubby complains that he can't mow that section. nodding I didn't have the heart to cut it off before it bloomed though, the chickens can keep the lawn pruned until then.
