I've had Fiji since 2013. The flowers can hang sometimes but it hasn't been a major issue for me. However, last year it did not bloom. I assumed it was because of the drought. But this year we've had more rain than is typical and Fiji just doesn't look good (small fans) and has no scapes. I'm beginning to think it just isn't a good fit for my climate.

It is pod fertile so I have two seedlings from Fiji with scapes that are much healthier looking.

Update: 12/30/19-two years of heavy rain must have been the reason for the profusion of blooms this year. I've never had so many scapes on my small clump. The flowers may have been somewhat smaller than previous years but there were so many more of them I didn't mind. This is one cultivar that seems to thrive on supplemental water.
