Dave is setting up the ATP database. He has pulled in our database from Cubits. He can add data boxes, pull down menus, or other areas where we can add data when entering daylilies to the database so that users of the database will be not only see that data, but be able to search for it.
There are "master" data boxes for all types of plants that will be able to be filled out, or checked - then some types of plants - daylilies, roses etc. will have additional information available to be filled out. Such as, daylilies will have an area so we can select foliage type of evergreen, semi-evergreen or dormant - which does not make sense if your entering a pansy into the database.
I think this will make the ATP database the best one I have seen on the web.
So -- this is our opportunity to tell Dave what we want in the daylily section as our individual criteria.
If you want to be involved in the database creation, there is a thread on the Site forum where you can be added if you let Dave know.
Here is a screen shot of the daylily section as it stands now. I got to it by going to the database, searching for Ruby Spider, then Editing details.
the database is not open for general viewing yet. So, I am not sure how many of these links will be visible... but I will include them in case you can get to them.
