Yes, there are a couple of hybridizers whose breeding for them. Steve Williams is one. He's @ http://obannonspringsdaylilies... and then there is Bob Sobek. His daylilys can be found here http://www.harmonhillfarm.com/.... Bob introduced 'Backstroke' which is a small yellow with maroon backs on the petals and sepals. An interesting plant for sure.
