We purchased a durable and accurate rain gauge and we've gotten over an inch of rain since 3pm rain yesterday! I put it back out after checking it because it started raining again. I'll start keeping track of our local precipitation in a spreadsheet, I guess because I'm "like that"

If you're curious about the rain gauge, this is the one I purchased. I really like it because it's supposed to be accurate to 1/100th of an inch and is built to US Weather Bureau standards.
