It was the "less than" sign. (<)
In web browsers, that symbol is interpreted as the beginning of an HTML tag and is parsed as such.
On my side, I fixed your problem by taking the < symbol (and the > symbol) and converting them to entities that won't be interpreted that way by the browser, but will still display properly to the user.
