I have only been on one other gardening forum before this and used ShadyGreenThumb there. I forgot my password over there, actually I've forgotten the site, name, too. But I remembered my screen name. I am both cursed and lucky to live in a very shady yard in Zone9a. And I CAN grow stuff there! Did you know that some things that require full sun can be grown in the shade? Things like EE's, Variegated Shell Ginger, some ferns that require sun etc., will grow albeit verrrry slowly. And sometimes that is a blessing.
