I tried a new mail order nursery up in Washington, Far Reaches Farm... They have several varieties of species Iris that I haven't heard of before... I received, beautiful, healthy plants today.. I was very pleased, and even did a little happy dance after I'd unpacked them. They have lots of really cool stuff...
Iris unguicularis 'Ginny Hunt' is supposed to have larger flowers than the species... and I know Ginny Hunt, so I had to get one of those..

The second Iris I got is Iris henryi "Clone #2".. Love the grassy foliage..

I also got a *really* nice-looking Thuja plic. 'Whipcord'.. It's a good textural plant that's going to be perfect between a couple of other shrubs..
