Kevin is this also true for S. ciliosum?
The seedling above is of ciliosum origin at least from the maternal side - no idea what the father is. Cilia are less dense than ciliosum, but leaf as well as rosette shape is fairly similar.

Funny thing is that the bigger offspring on the longer stolen was fully green until now. It's the first time I had a closer look on the other offspring.
I saw the same effect on siblings of this seedling in spring. Now they're fully green or reddish green all over.
It's just the young offspring on this seedling that currently show this coloration. The mother is fully green.
Three out of five ciliosum sibling seedlings I kept of last year's seedlings showed this colour effect until now.
