Veronica thanks for all the great info. I really don't think this one is worth the headache and I may just take a cutting or two off and start over. I had put it in a bigger pot last spring with all new potting soil. I had my hubby help pull the rooot ball out and it doesn't seem overly root bound. But I cut the stems way back so I cut about a third of the root ball out. Added fresh potting soil and replanted it., I think if next year I see the same issues I will just take the cuttings and leave this one outside all winter. I have enough brugs now that one less will not matter one way or the other.
