About Gracie, she is a special cat. She and her family were abandoned by some really crappy people that used to live next to us. She was a kitten then, but retains some wildness. Took her a long time to trust me...hence the "stare" in the pic...at that time she was still not quite sure I could be trusted, since I had taken her to a vet to be spayed. She's more mellow toward me now.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
