Teresa, I have not posted images in the share thread, so I have nothing invested but a few comments to friends. However I'm aware of the dilemma it poses in regards to the rules of the forum, so was initially a bit surprised to see it. Still I have always assumed the share thread would simply be locked or deleted if it was thought of as unsuitable.

@Dave directly, than to allow this discussion to get emotional. If he doesn't respond here you could bring it up on the site talk forum, Teresa. I'm sure he will respond there.
