This is fun to think about. I wonder where there is so much variation now if it would be impossible to to include many in any group. I remember reading some articles in 'Tall Talk' about the variations in the plicata themes, they were numerous. If I find the articles I will list them. Having said this I think it might be a fun winter project for those who would want to participate to work on a list of color patterns and then post a few pictures of iris showing the color pattern, Kent's list would be a great place to start. It might be fun to post pictures of our favorites and ask "what color pattern is this?"
