If you refer to the rosette centre, Lynn -that is more or less how the bright centre on the offsets started...I don't consider it a variegation as it shows up rather late on the leaves and tends to spread out until it covers the whole leaf. On other variegated plants I saw this change in colouring only on young leaves that start off fully bright green and then start to show their green and white pattern...
