Well, we all know how misleading the first bloom on a rose can be. This turned out to be one of those cases. The second bloom looks like this:
The buds have changed color too. It now resembles Autumn Sunset, but the bloom has more petals, they have curled edges like Harkness roses, and the canes are far more pliable than any Autumn Sunset cane.
What is it?
Edited to add that the rose has been identified as Puerta del Sol.
