My garden is impossible to fence, so I rely on diligent application of milorganite, blood/bone meal, a homemade concoction made with garlic, hot sauce, and rotten eggs, and Liquid Fence. I also have Deer No No placed throughout. I think the key with any of the odor-based detergents is frequent application and rotating your arsenal. They can get used to even the worst smells, so keep those revolting odors exciting and new!
