I had no idea you got those in Texas! Growing up in the San Joaquin Valley in California, we swam in the irrigation canals, large concrete affairs which scare the dickens out of me now to think we used to swim in them, but we did not have gators or crocs to deal with. I don't know if that's a gator or croc..don't want to get familiar enough with them to know the diff. Is this a normal occurence? Were you surprised to see him /her?
