I do the same thing to clean my nails and cuticles! One muddy day I sprayed my tennis shoes and was shocked at how much cleaner they got with a blast of water than they did in the washing machine! I was hooked! After that, I clamped them to the edge of the deck and blasted them clean whenever they needed washing.
