Well, it says that if you live trap, peta claims that moving the animal more than 100 yards is inhumane. Honestly, an animal eating your food needs to be removed or exploded. UGHH.. DH and I put small traps in tunnels of voles. last year. We did have success. I know we went to u tube, for suggestions. There were many different ways. Good luck.
