What wonderful pictures and I really like your shelving idea. I am assuming with orchids in your GH that it is heated - I was just thinking it would be absolute heaven to have my morning coffee in there! What is the yellow orchid with the orange/brown spots going around the petals in the first selection of photos? Very pretty.

I have heard where some people will remove their tropical waterlilies and overwinter them either in their cellar wrapped in damp newspaper or in the crisper section of their refridgerator. Personally speaking, I have not tried either method and I would think in either case, there would/could be mold problems.

DH wants so badly to have the tropical waterlilies, but our fish find them far more tasty than the hardy waterlilies.
