Time for an update on my seedlings. After month of rain and rather mild temperatures around 30°F, we now had two weeks of dry weather and night temperatures in the lower teens. Not the best conditions for semps if not covered with snow (We had snow twice and it just lasted 1 day).
My white arachnoideum seedling lost quite some leaves and the white colouring turned into a creamy mix of red and green...curious to see if it turns back to former beauty during the year.
The light centered ciliosum seedling did not change that much, but recently started to develop green tips on the offspring.
My yellow seedling turned fully green, but there's hope that it might turn yellow spring sets in.
These are two other seedlings, just recently transplanted that stick out of the mass with their light green colouring. The smaller one might even Show variegation (?).
This is a fuzzy seedling I separated in Decembre - it started to show colour when the last cold wave hit in.
I lost some seedlings during winter months, but there are still many left currently developing their first colour.
This year's seeds are out in a diy micro grow tunnel since last weekend - 15 multiport trays with 24 pots each + some extra pots. I'm hoping for nice seedlings from 'Plastic', 'Cmirals yellow' and 'Andre Smits' among others.
