I was wondering about Udderly Smooth! Perhaps I'll try that too! I went to the drugstore yesterday to get some Bag Balm, and they only had one left. I opened the thing, and someone had swiped their finger in it!
They ordered a fresh tin for me.
I looked at Udderly Smooth and almost got it...now I wish I had gotten it, or at least looked at the ingredients to be sure they meet my standards of organic, as well as, to be sure there's no gluten!
It takes me forever in the drugstore to check ingredients for gluten! Not only for wheat but also for oat ingredients. I do have Celiac Disease, and I have the dermatitis form, on top of the gut reactions, so I have to watch the personal care items I use, particularly for the entire head, neck and shoulders bc I'll get lesions, but I'm cautious with everything I get. Our organic store does carry those types of gluten free items, but sometimes I get lazy and take advantage of convenience. Ingesting gluten also causes lesions in those areas, but it takes a lot of gluten for an internal gut reaction to come along. I was diagnosed in 2007, after our DD#1 was diagnosed. We were told it's inherited, and had no idea it was in our genes! She doesn't suffer from the dermatitis form though. Not all Celiacs do, and she is very thankful for that.
Anyhow, I digress. I'm going to look at Udderly Smooth. Are the ingredients all organic?
I've never heard of Amlactin. Where can it be found?
