No,i just have heared it. But last year i grew some L. rosthornii crosses from seeds. when the winter come they where not plced in my fridge since they where so small. And through the winter i had them growing. Then i placed them in my greenhouse in the spring where they continued to grow, and to my big surprise had flowers just a few weeks ago. My wife and i where in Latvia this summer, visiting some lilygrowers. One of them told me that trumpets don't need a colment treatment for flowering. (I could have had a picture here of it but it was looking just like L.rosthornii). Since i'm living in a cold country i don't have any experience about growing trumpets without a cold period, and i don't have any experience growing L.longiflorum.
