Often we are used to seeing succulent leaves, this time the succulent stems:

This is my Beucarnea recurvata - commonly called as ponytail palm, elephant foot palm, bottle tree palm. But is not a palm, more closely related to a Yucca.

I grow this one indoors near a south facing window, very low maintenance. I know I can take it outside during summer, but I decided to just keep it indoors, it is thriving happily anyways.

My next favorite is the Desert Rose or Adenium Obesum. This one I got 2 years ago from a local walmart store, a noid desert rose. Have been trying to read a lot about its culture, so far I really have to keep this indoors during winter together with my plumeria, both being deciduous during winter, but makes a good comeback as soon as weather becomes warmer. Very lovely blooms.

I am still on a steep learning curve growing a plumeria. So far I have killed one oops! Now left with one, but I do hope I can also learn to grow it properly like my desert rose and ponytail palm Smiling
This is my one and only struggling plumeria:
