No, not at all! I'm just speculating. I have no experience with your zone. I would be tempted to plant them in the ground simply because it's easier than growing them inside.

By the way, Hibiscus are deader than dead by the end of November here in zone 9. I used to bring them inside during Thanksgiving weekend, but last year the frost hit a week earlier.
