Just returned from 1 week holidays on the German north coast and had the brilliant idea to cover my freshly watered seedlings with plastic foil to prevent them from drying out. Worst idea ever. Don't do this at home.
The result:
- dark seedling with rosy centre = burnt to death and gone forever
- seedling with thick waxy leaves = burnt to death and gone forever
- yellow seedling + 2 juvenile offspring = burnt to death and gone forever
- 4 of my white archnoideum + 57 juvenile offspring = burnt to death
remaining 3 plants + 3 juvenile offspring = slightly burnt, might make it
- 10 seedlings recently selected = burnt to death and gone forever
- ex-variegated seedling = slightly burnt, some offspring lost
- about 200 random seedlings, not selected (3 trays) = burnt to death and gone forever
..... worst return from holiday ever...!
