The worst part about hunkering down for us is the fear of no AC, it is not the heat as much as it is the bugs. It will be the same when we eventually move to FL. We can stock up on water and easy to prepare foods but those bugs will do us in.
We had a few wild but very short storms earlier this afternoon and when I looked at the weather map it showed the outer bands of Alberto whirling around us. It may not be very powerful but it is a wide storm.
