Gas stations, banks, everything goes out, we always keep the cars and our wallets filled. Credit cards do not work with no power. Some of our neighbors were out for about 3 1/2 weeks last fall. We were among the lucky ones who were only out for a few days and since we were not here it was not an issue. We should have stayed away longer rather than battle that returning traffic. This was the first time that NE Florida was routed through SC. We were not allowed to get on the interstate which was probably a good thing since 95 was so jammed up a lot of FL folks got off and were crowding the small roads. What a mess. I can't believe we are moving to FL, we must be nuts.
