Laura, it will do best outside, you can even lay it flat over the winter. Chris can tell you how she stores her's over the winter. Indoors is not a good place for them, they actually like and need the winter weather to do well.
If you go to your account at the top of the page you can add info that will help us understand more about what your growing conditions are, as in part of the country, zone, etc.
Most of us are through trading until next spring as the plants are winding down for winter sleep. But there are a number of great places for awesome plants at wonderful prices listed over in the Links on the upper right hand side of this page.
A new one for me just this month is Perennial Obsession. Her plants are wonderful and prices are great. http://perennialobsessions.com... But there are many more nursery to choose from.
