Sandi you have a very handy husband. That is a great wall box. The only thing I would suggest is to put a layer of moss over the top of the soil to keep the soil from washing out when hung. Does the unit fill from the top? If so at this point it would be easy to remove the top and add a layer of moss, then start planting.
I can't wait to see it all finished. That is going to be one impressive living wall. Lovey dubby
