Sorry to read about your fuschias EliseFlower, that was also my mistake before. They can do well in my area from late winter to mid Spring, but beyond that it is just too much dry heat. Really taught me well to choose what I should plant around here. Glad I saw this thread again, made me read the old posts and I saw I did post before when my plant was still alive. The upper limit temperature-wise seemed to be low 90F, and even with thorough watering, it just won't make it. Plus our strong winds came too, so it just further dried up the plant faster. nodding
