Is this inconsistent? If you enter roses (plural), you get roses. If you enter daylilies (plural), you get daylilies. If you enter apples (plural), you get other plants with 'apples' in their cultivar name. If you enter bamboo, you get daylilies with 'bamboo' in their cultivar name. If you enter persimmons, you get daylilies with 'persimmons' in their cultivar name.
