I've been out working in the yard all day as we are to have rain and frost throughout the week. Got the gutters cleaned, birdfeeders set, more leaf chopping and raking, more composting care, then I planted 60 tulips.

I thought I was done with digging holes but yesterday I stopped at the hardware and they had a big bin of Holland bulbs marked down 40% and then it was 20% off day ...so what could I DO???? They are not the quality bulbs (only about 10-12 cm. and some dry or broken) like I typically put in but if even a portion come it will bring spring closer!

Burrr...time for a hot soak as soon as I can tear myself away from this electric blanket! (Advisory: Do NOT use electric blanket in bath.) Hilarious!
