thanks you all are so close!!! the plant is much like the Euthamia except the plant seems to grow from a single leaved stem and the flowers from the top of the single stem, unless they are not fully grown plants. Unfortunately I didn't get a closer pick in full bloom because the flower petals were curled back even then-like tiny cups with curled back petals, sepals coming from the centers. I'll get some more current pics of the whole plant and leaves.
