I have a good few pages of how to care for them and if anyone would like it send me your email Its a word doc and 4 pages so don't want to try to post here . here is a quick how to

1 Adenium Obesum, also known as Desert Rose, is native to Eastern Africa and Northern Arabia.
2 in the ground in very warm climates can grow 6-12 ft! BUT DON'T THINK ANY OF US WILL HAVE IN THE GROUND!
3 in pots usualy very old (20 yrs) 3 ft most will have a squat plant. mine 6 yo i had outside in 5 gal pot was 2 ft tall 18 in round
4 likes full sun (least 6 hr) if in very hot loc 95deg and up part shade
5 very well draining soil (2/3 bark soiless mix) 1/3 perlite
6 in growing season water very well then wait till almost dry but not dusty dry!
7 most go threw dormant season in cooler shorter days.
8 can be grown in almost any type container
9 there prized for there blooms AND there caudex ( the trunk)
10 can be grown from seed and grafted If grown from seed they can very in variety.

thats the quick guide to growing most people kill them by over-watering and the rot. I find as long as you dont let them get bone dry and kill the feeder roots they do best with a little neglect
email me for the whole document
