I think this is hvx....but looking for some other opinions since I'm still learning about it and the test strips are pretty darned expensive.

It doesn't look right at all...BUT we also had several sudden cold snaps and late, late, late frost, almost to the end of June, and Atlantis was the first hosta up and most vigorous grower.

I thought perhaps it was the terrible spring we had.

It was fine last year but I got it and a couple others before knowing about hvx.

It's definitely textured weirdly. I got it at Kent which is a big-box competitor to home improvement stores like Home Depot/Lowe's but locally owned.

Of course it was large enough I split it immediately so it's in 2 spots but I haven't touched it since putting it in so I have moved it and put something else in its place at least Sighing!

The tag is a common supplier around here.
