Oh, I'll be okay Cece...when you see this place you will understand. In the winter I have SOOO many plants come in and as a little old home, it has just a few windows with decent light.....now if I had a room like you built on...well!....THEN it might get dangerous!
Yes, Inky makes me laugh how much he understands. In the summer, the palms and large potted plants go outside. When I take them out he has an inkling to (help) pee on them. He will go there...lift his leg a little and look at me. If I say, "I don't care...go ahead..", he will christen the plant for summer. When I bring them in he asks the same question. I tell him, 'absolutely NOT buddy...they're inside now!" He says "okay, I get it", and it's over.
The leaves he chomps are usually ones that come in with his paws or ears. Thank goodness for wood floors. I keep a broom on the porch and every other day or so I pretend I live in "Little House on the Prairie" and out they go!
