I'm guilty of the same thing. But --- if I haven't grown a plant then I don't feel right giving something a thumbs up because I have no first hand knowledge of it. Example: If I had never grown Clerodendrum shooting star I could see a photo of it especially in bloom & give it a thumbs up. Now, IMO that would be a poor thing to do. Why? Because I actually HAVE grown such plant & it turned out to be invasive as all get out & I ended up having to use methods I hate using (Round Up aka poison) as a last resort to get rid of it. You take my meaning?
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
