It was a fun show. There were several Scout troops and young students attending. They had some displays set up in front to give an overview to the kids on cactus and succulents and there were demonstrations on bonsai and transplanting in another area.
These are all pictures from the sales tables. I have bought several small plants at meetings and I couldn't decide on anything so I only bought another ground orchid and a really nice book (one of the authors is a professor in our club) called Flora Ilustrada de la Península de Yucatán (Illustrated Flora of the Yucatan Peninsula) so now I have a reference book for local plants. If you see anything that I should get in these pictures, please tell me. I'm still learning and don't know enough to do more than sample.
major thorns on this one
I was very tempted by this one, it's beautiful but has sharp serrated edges to the leaves.
